MagFabrics 1.4.0

The MagFabrics app serves as a practical tool for scanning barcodes associated with fabric samples. This application enables users across the United States to access real-time availability of thousands of fabric options from MagFabrics. With numerous galleries showcasing these fabrics nationwide, users can stay informed about the latest offerings.

For Consumers, Galleries, and Retailers:

• Single Scan: This feature allows users to scan the barcode of an individual fabric sample, whether it’s one they have ordered or a sample displayed at a retail location or gallery. A green scan indicates that the fabric is available for purchase, with sufficient yardage to fulfill any orders. Conversely, a red scan signifies that the fabric has been discontinued and is no longer available for bulk orders.
• Manual Check: This option is useful if a barcode is too damaged to scan. Users can manually enter the number located beneath the barcode into the Manual Check field to verify fabric availability.
• Full Scan: This feature allows users to scan multiple fabric samples simultaneously. Similar to the single scan function, it provides green/red feedback regarding availability. However, it also presents the opportunity to submit scan data, which MagFabrics may use to notify users of new samples they may not possess. There is potential for proactive mailing of physical samples for those not scanned, although user data will remain confidential and will not be shared with third parties.

Prior to submitting a full scan, users are prompted to provide their contact information so that MagFabrics can reach out with notification updates. Rest assured, this information will remain private and is only collected if a full scan is executed and sent.

The Settings section allows users to update their contact details in preparation for submitting full scan data. Any data entered within Settings will remain within the app and will not be transmitted or stored on MagFabrics' servers unless the user opts to submit a full scan.
